Jones Radiator
Small space, spartan interiors, great beer selection. I could just stop writing right there as it sums up Jones Radiator pretty neatly, but, then again, this place deserves more than that.
This is really quite a nice spot for alehounds, and with 16 often-rotated handles you should find something fun here with every visit, especially if you enjoy IPAs. Really, the beer theme really is everpresent, and while brick walls and concrete floors might be the first thing to catch your eye, there are plenty of proof on the walls suggesting the owners do, indeed, enjoy Dogfish Head. We can respect that.
The ales seemed to be served just a tad to cold, though as soon as that's fixed, I'd say this is a must stop for people who love their beer.
There's a small menu—other than the beer selection "small" seems to be a theme here—with an emphasis on panini. We didn't try any during our visit, though a good savory sandwich seems like a good companion to their beer selection. Kind of comical was the bartender who couldn't seem to remember who ordered food, and went around asking who placed the order. At a larger place that might be annoying; here it was just part of the charm.
I can't think of anything particularly off about the place. The beer could be just slightly warmer, but with their selection and good service, that's a minor ding.
Jones Radiator is pretty awesome. Follow them on Facebook to keep up to date with their tap selection.
