See, this is how you open a coffee shop.

The original Coffee Social was definitely good, but took a turn for the worse after an ownership change. Now it has been transformed into Chairs Coffee, and it's a change for the better, or back to the better if you like.

The new name plays on their slogan—"a place to sit and socialize"—and the decor definitely lives up to the name. There are chairs all over the place here, all different and often funky looking. In other words if you like to sit on chairs, this is a good place to do it, if only to admire the new paint job.

Yet, we were more interested in the coffee than the chairs, and tried the patented Americano & Chai Test that New Natural Start failed. Here, everything was well. The Americano was made using Roast House coffee and was definitely what I was hoping for. And, they actually know what a chai tea latte is. Not too shabby!

Payment is done using an iPad, which is kind of awesome.

Overall we found few teething problems here. The staff seemed a bit flustered, which is to be expected. Chairs was a good experience. Definitely one to keep your eyes on.
